Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
Upon your arrival at International Airport, you will be met by our company representatives and immediately transferred to your hotel for rest.
Overnight stay will be at Mumbai.
Day 02: Mumbai - Chennai
After breakfast, on time transfer to airport for flight to Chennai.
Chennai, the capital city of south Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is known as the 'Gateway to South India'. Chennai is popular for its rich historical and cultural heritage, which can be clearly seen in hundreds of temples and historic monuments of the city.
Arrive at Chennai and check into your hotel and relax. After fresh up, enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of Chennai. Visit the famous Mariana Beach, Fort Museum, High Court, Santhome Cathedral and Snake Park among other attractions of Chennai. Relax in the evening. Overnight stay will be at Chennai.
Day 03: Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Chennai
After breakfast, we proceed for Mahabalipuram by surface.
Mahabalipuram is the 7th century port city of south India, famous for its rock-cut and monolithic temple architecures. It's also a UNESCO world Heritage Site. Visit the famous seven pagodas - interesting group of ancient rock hewn temples on the seashore.
Thereafter, we proceed to Kanchipuram, the ancient capital of the Pallavas, is famous as the city of 1000 temples (still has 124 temples). Kanchipuram is also famous for silk. See the amazingly beautiful temples of Kanchipuram famous for their architectural richness.
Return to Chennai and relax. Overnight stay will be at Chennai.
Day 04: Chennai - Tirupati
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Tirupati.
Tirupati is a small but important temple and pilgrimage town of south India. Located at the foot of the scenic Tirumala Hills, Tirupati is regarded as one of the most picturesque pilgrimage centers of south India. The town is famous for its ancient and beautiful Lord Venkateshwara Temple.
Arrive at Tirupati and check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit the famous Lord Venkateshwara Temple for Darshan of Lord Balaji. Witness the fervor with which the devotees stand in long queues for a glimpse of their sacred Lord. See the masses of coins, jewelry and hair being offered to the Lord.
Overnight stay will be at Tirupati.
Day 05: Tirupati - Bangalore
After breakfast, we proceed for Bangalore by surface.
Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka, is popularly referred as the 'Garden City of India'. One of the most modernized and most industrialized cities of India, Bangalore is also known as the Manhattan of India as the city keeps pace with the latest trends and fashion in the world. Once, the summer capital of Tipu Sultan, Bangalore is famous for its enchantingly beautiful gardens, palaces, modern shopping malls, pubs and nightclubs
Arrive at Bangalore and check into the hotel. Overnight stay will be at Bangalore.
Day 06: Bangalore - Mysore
Breakfast will be at hotel. Thereafter, proceed for sightseeing tour of Bangalore. Visit the famous Vidhan Soudha- the Legislative and Secretariat House of Karnataka, Cubbon Park and Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens among other attractions of Bangalore.
Later, we drive to Mysore, enjoying sightseeing tour of Srirangapatnam Enroute. See the Daria Daulat Palace of Srirangapatnam. Arrive at Mysore and check into the hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a visit to the famous Mysore Palace and the temples.
Overnight stay will be at Mysore.
Day 07: Mysore - Kodaikanal
After breakfast, visit the enchanting Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hill, Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery and Devraj Urs market. Return to the hotel and proceed to Kodaikanal to reach by the evening.
Located amidst the scenic Palani Hills at an altitude of over 2,100 m above the sea level, Kodaikanal is one of the most beautiful and serene hill stations of south India. Set amidst the most enchanting surroundings of lush green slopes, mighty rocks, enchanting waterfalls and a beautiful lake, Kodaikanal never fails to mesmerize its visitors.
Arrive at Kodaikanal and check into the hotel. Later, visit the famous Kurinji Andavar Temple, which offers a breathtaking view of the northern plains and the Palani Hills.
Overnight stay will be at Kodaikanal.
Day 08: Kodaikanal - Trichy
After breakfast, we proceed to Trichy. Arrive at Trichy and proceed for Full day excursion of Trichy. Visit the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi (434 steps cut out into the rock side). Then, visit the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Sri Jambukeshwara Temple and St' John's Church.
Return to hotel and relax. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel in Trichy.
Day 09: Trichy - Tanjore
After breakfast, we drive to Tanjore also known as Thanjavur. Arrive and proceed for the sightseeing tour of Tanjore. Visit the famous Brihadeeswara Temple. Its bronze and handicrafts make Tanjore one of the highlights of the South India tour.
Overnight stay will be at Tanjore.
Day 10: Tanjore - Madurai
After breakfast at hotel, we leave for Madurai by surface visiting Karaikudi (Chettinad), en route. Arrive at Madurai and check into hotel by noon.
Madurai is a 2,500 years old famous temple town of south India. Also the second largest city of Tamil Nadu, Madurai is regarded as one of the famous ancient seat of learning in south India.
After fresh up, visit the famous Meenakshi Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvathi, the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopuram. If time permits enjoy a ' light & sound show' in the Palace of Tirumalai Nayak (optional) or visit the Alagar Hills and Thirupura Rock Temple.
Overnight stay will be at Madurai.
Day 11: Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a full day excursion to Rameshwaram, a sacred place for Hindus known for its scenic beauty
Return to Madurai by evening. Overnight stay will be at Madurai.
Day 12: Madurai - Trivandrum
After breakfast at hotel, we proceed to Kanyakumari - the southern most point of India where the Indian subcontinent meets the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunset against the sea that never fails to enchant your eyes and soul.
Later, we start for Trivandrum by surface and reach by the late evening. Arrive and check into the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay will be at Trivandrum.
Day 13: Trivandrum - Alleppey - Houseboat
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a morning visit to the Padmanabha Swami Temple and Kanakakunnu Palace.
Later, we drive to the enchanting backwaters of Alleppey where you will board the Luxurious Traditional Houseboat, the best way to explore the fascinating beauty of the Kerala backwaters, for a memorable Day & Night Cruise. The Houseboat will take you through the lush green virgin villages of Kuttanad - perhaps the only location in the world below the sea level. By evening the boat will be anchored at the middle of the water column. Enjoy a starry night stay in between blue waters and blue skies.
Overnight stay will be on board the houseboat.
Day 14: Cochin
In the morning, resume your houseboat cruising and proceed to Cochin passing through the heartland of South Kerala. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Kerala backwaters while passing through the choir villages of Alleppey. Arrive at Cochin and disembark the houseboat.
Check into the hotel at Cochin and relax. In the evening, proceed for a Sunset Harbor Cruise. See the amazing Chinese Fishing Nets along the Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, VOC Gate, Bastion Bungalow among other attractions of Cochin.
Overnight stay will be at Cochin.
Day 15: Cochin - Mumbai
After breakfast at hotel, on time transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai. Arrive at Mumbai and transfer to the hotel.
After freshen up, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Visit the famous Mahalaxmi Temple, Hanging Gardens, Tower of Silence, Prince of Wales Museum and enchanting Chowpatty Beach.
Relax in the evening. Overnight stay will be at Mumbai.
Day 16: Mumbai
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the famous Gateway of India and proceed to harbor for ferry to Elephanta Caves. Sightseeing of Elephanta Caves and return Mumbai by the afternoon. Proceed to hotel and relax in the evening.
Check out late and transfer to international airport around 22.00 hrs.
Day 17: Mumbai - Departure
Board an early morning flight for onward destination or way back home with sweet memories of India.
