This trek is a good introduction to Ladakh. This tour entails visiting classical sights of Ladakh by jeeps and taking moderate trek over the region’s most spectacular passes.
Day 1: Arrive - Delhi
Arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi – Leh
Board a morning flight to reach Delhi. Spend the day at your leisure and have an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh
Take a sightseeing tour of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monastery. Spend a night at the hotel.
Days 4: Leh
Explore Leh by walking at leisure throughout the day. Stay for a night at the hotel.
Days 5: Leh - Stok - Stok La Base
Drive to Stok village to meet the staff and start trekking to reach the base of Stok La via Mankarmo which have barren mountains on both sides of the route. Camp for a night.
Day 6: Stok La Base - Stok (4700 Mt) – Rumbak
Cross Stok La and trek to Rumbak in the morning. Enjoy the magnificent beauty of Indus Valley mountain range and camp for a night.
Day 7: Rumbak – Zingchen
Trek to Zingchen village in the morning. Camp for a night stay.
Day 8: Zingchen - Spituk - Leh
Trek to Spituk Bridge as the last lap of your trekking tour. You will be picked up by jeep which will drive you to Leh. Stay for a night at the hotel.
Day 9: Leh – Delhi
Take a morning flight to reach Delhi. Check into the hotel, spend a leisurely day and have an overnight stay.
Day 10: Depart Delhi
Board a departing flight from Delhi to move on to your onward destination.
