This trip simply has no comparison when you are on a tour to Arunachal Pradesh. You have the pleasure or exploring the remotest corners of Arunachal Pradesh along with the major tourist attractions like the Tawang Monastery, place where the 5th Dalai Lama was born. During this tour you have the chance to meet people belonging to the ethnic tribal groups of the state. The tour takes you on to a visit of one of the most significant wildlife park in the world.



Day 1: Arrive - Delhi/Calcutta
Arrive at the international airport of Delhi/ Calcutta and meet the tour group. Check into a hotel for an overnight stay.



Day 2: Delhi/Calcutta - Guwahati – Tezpur
Take a flight to Guwahati. On arrival drive to Tezpur which lies at a distance of 200 kilometers from Guwahati. The driving time is 4 hours.



Day 3: Tezpur - Bhalukpong – Bomdila
Take a drive to Bomdila for 5 hours. Enroute halt at Bhalukpong for the formality of passport check. Then visit Tipi Orchidarium and Research Center. On the way you will pass the villages inhabited by ‘Bugun Tribe’ and the Rupa Valley which is the residential place of Sherdukpen tribes. After having your meal take a sightseeing tour of the town and have an overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 4: Bomdila - Dirang – Tawang
In the morning drive to Tawang. The driving route commands great view of the Gaurichen Mountains. Visit the monastery of the Old Dirang village which is the home of Buddhist Monpa tribes. Next drive to Sela Pass (4215 meters) and come back to Tawang and have an overnight stay at the hotel.



Days 5: Tawang
Visit the Tawang Monastery or Galden Namgyal Lhatse Monastery which was built in 1637-47 AD. This gompa points to the riches of the Gelugpa sect of Mahayana Buddhism. It is a rich storehouse of ancient artifacts in the private museum of the monastery. Hike to nunnery and visit the handicraft center. Have an overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila
Drive back to Bomdila and en route take a visit of the Yak breeding farm and the orphanage.



Day 7: Bomdila – Itanagar
From Bomdila take an eight hours drive to Itanagar. On arrival have your meal and visit the Itanagar Museum.



Day 8: Itanagar – Zero
Start for a 4 hours journey to Zero. En route visit the Nishi villages and have an overnight stay at Zero.



Day 9: Zero
For an entire day you are free to explore the rice growing valleys and Apatani villages. Stay for a night in the hotel.



Day 10: Zero – Itanagar
Drive back to Itanagar and have an overnight stay in the hotel.



Day 11: Itanagar – Kaziranga
Drive to the famous wildlife park, Kaziranga. Stay for a night at the wildlife lodge.



Day 12: Kaziranga
Take a safari ride on elephant in the Kaziranga Park, famous for housing one horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tigers. Take jeep excursions in the park towards late morning and early afternoon. Have an overnight stay at the lodge.



Day 13: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Delhi/Calcutta
In the early morning drive back to Guwahati Airport which is a 5 hours journey. Fly back to Delhi/ Calcutta and have an overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 14: Depart - Delhi/Calcutta
Arrive at the international airport and move on to your destination.
