Day 01 - Delhi - Jabalpur
Board an Air Deccan flight to Jabalpur from Delhi on day 01 of the Wildlife and Tribal Trails Tour. Meet the tour operator on arrival and check in at a hotel with assistance from the tour representative. Enjoy guided tours to enchanting Jabalpur attractions such as Chounsath Yogini, Marble rocks and more.
Indulge in a luxury boat cruise on River Narmada and relish a delicious lunch at a Madhya Pradesh Tourism Motel. See enamoring tribal vistas while you check out the Bargi dam and tour local temples.
Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 02 - Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh
Have a delicious breakfast and enjoy delightful tribal trails on a 4-hour drive to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Check in at a jungle resort on arrival, with assistance from the tour representative. Treat yourself to a filling traditional Indian lunch, rest awhile and embark on exhilarating wildlife tours to the interiors of Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India.
Drive back to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03 - Bandhavgarh
Date deep greens, track wild animals and sing with chirping birds as you explore the dense undergrowths of Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh. Drive back to the jungle resort / hotel after a thrilling wildlife safari late in the evening and pamper yourself with a delicious dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Bandhavgarh - Kanha ( By surface 240 km / 5 hrs drive)
Bid farewell to the enchanting wildlife at Bandhavgarh on day 04 of Wildlife and Tribal Trails tour. Have a full meal for breakfast and set out on a 5-hour drive to Kanha National Park with the tour representative. Reach Kanha late in the evening and check in at a hotel with assistance from the tour operator. Relax and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 05 - Kanha
Today you set on out an adventure filled jungle safari deep into the heart of Kanha National Park. Come back to the hotel in the afternoon for lunch and set out on your fun wild tours to the interiors of Kanha.
Drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 06- Kanha - Kawardha
Set out on a two and a half hour drive to Mukki, have a mouthwatering lunch and continue driving to Kawardha. On arrival please check in at a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 07 - Kawardha
Explore tribal trails, hear enchanting tribal lores and enjoy ethnic India as you travel to tribal settlements in central India.
Tour the Kawardha Palace that was erected under the aegis of Maharaja Dharamraj Singh. See the ancient Radha Krishna temple whose origin may be traced back to the 10th Century. Visit Saroda Reservoir and Loharbavli on your Kawardha tours. Enjoy glorious Kawardha sunsets while Baiga tribals enliven the air with musical melodies.
Have a traditional dinner at a local tribal village and set out on a night safari to the local wilds. Try and spot leopards, sloth bears, porcupines and wild boar. Local tribals guide you through these wilds and feed you on their personal encounters with wild animals and intriguing legends.
Have dinner at Kawardha Palace and rest there overnight.
Day 08 - Kawardha - Kanker (By surface via Raipur (295 km / 7 hrs drive)
Breakfast at Kawardha Palace and set out on an enchanting drive through the exotic Chhattisgarh tribal belt. Arrive in Kanker in the evening and check in at the Kanker Palace hotel with assistance from the tour operator. Enjoy a delicious and lavish dinner as you watch Muria tribes gyrate in rhythm to traditional music.
Stay overnight at the Kanker Palace, Kanker, Central India on day 08 of the Wildlife and Tribal Trails tour.
Day 09- Kanker
Set out on tribal tours to Narianpur and Khodagaon equipped with a packed lunch. These enchanting tribal settlements are located on the outskirts of Kanker. Drive back to the hotel for dinner and enjoy a tribal dance performance before retiring to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10- Kanker - Baster
Set out on a 3-hour drive to Baster after a morning safari to the tribal settlements of Kanker. Check in at the Royal Bastar Farm with assistance from the tour representative.
Enjoy a full meal at the Royal Bastar Farm as you watch local tribes entertain you with ethnic dance performances.
Day 11 - Baster
Today the Wildlife and Tribal Trails tour takes you on an exciting tour into the heart of tribal India. Spend the day discovering more about tribal existence, tribal crafts, local legends and more. Tour the lovely Chitrakoot waterfalls and drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 12 - Baster
Enjoy an entire days excursion to local tribal hamlets and drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 13 - Baster - Raipur
Shop for crafts at local tribal bazaars and continue with the Wildlife and Tribal Trails tour to Raipur. On arrival check in at Hotel Babylon. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Raipur.
Day 14 - Raipur
Today the Wildlife and Tribal Tour comes to an end. The tour representative arranges for you to be driven to the Raipur airport so that you may board your flight to Delhi, Mumbai, Vizag or Bhubaneshwar, depending upon your onward journey.
