Day 1: Arrive Chennai
On arrival at Chennai by late night flight, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to your hotel in Chennai.
Overnight stay will be at Chennai.
 Day 2: Chennai - Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Chennai covering Marina Beach, Fort St. George, Museum and Kapaleeshvara Temple. In the evening, we drive to Mahabalipuram enroute visiting Kanchipuram. See the amazing temples of Kanchipuram famous for their architectural richness. Reach Mahabalipuram and check into the hotel.
Mahabalipuram is the 7th century port city of south India, famous for its rock-cut and monolithic temple architecures. It's also a UNESCO world Heritage Site.
Overnight stay will be at Mahabalipuram.
Day 3: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. Visit the famous Arjuna's Penance, the Shore Temple and the Pancha Rathas (Five Chariots) - five monolithic pyramidal structures named after the legendary Pandavas. In the evening, we drive to Pondicherry.
Pondicherry is a former French colony and now a Union Territory of India. It's famous for its colonial buildings and quiet beaches.
Overnight stay will be at Pondicherry.
Day 4: Pondicherry - Tanjore
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Pondicherry. Visit the famous Shri Aurobindo Ashram and some of the famous colonial structures. In the evening, we drive to Tanjore.
Overnight stay will be at Tanjore.
Day 5: Tanjore - Madurai
After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Tanjore.
Tanjore was the capital of the ancient state ruled by the Cholas. Tanjore is popular for its temples and paintings. Visit the famous Brihadeeswarar temple housing a huge Shiva lingam and a stone sculpture of the Nandi bull. In the evening, we drive to Madurai enroute visiting Trichy.
In Trichy, visit the Rock Cut Temple, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Sri Jambukeshwara Temple and St' John's Church.
Overnight stay will be at Madurai.
Day 6: Madurai
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Madurai.
Madurai is a famous temple town of south India. In Madurai you can visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, the Mariamman Teppakulam (a Tank) and the Palace of Tirumalai Nayak. In the evening, revisit the Meenakshi Temple for prayer ceremony.
Overnight stay will be at Madurai.
Day 7: Madurai - Periyar
After breakfast, we drive to Periyar (155 km).
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is renowned for its rich population of the Indian elephant and other wild animals. The Periyar Lake situated in the middle of the park offers exciting boat cruising for wildlife viewing. You can see the elephants, gaurs, sambhars and many other animals wallowing in the waters of the beautiful Periyar Lake. Periyar is also famous for its bird population.
Arrive at Periyar and check into the wildlife resort. In the late afternoon, enjoy an exciting elephant safari to explore the rich flora and fauna of the park. An elephant safari in Periyar would surely be a thrilling and memorable experience for you.
Overnight stay will be at the resort in Periyar.
Day 8: Periyar - Kumarakom
Enjoy an early morning boat cruising in the beautiful Periyar Lake to see the herds of wild elephants pleasing themselves on the banks of the lake. Also enjoy spotting a variety of exotic and colorful birds (both domestic and migratory birds) in Periyar.
Thereafter, we drive to Kumarakom (125 km - 4 hours drive). Kumarakom is one of the finest backwater and beach destinations of Kerala. Arrive at Kumarakom and check into the resort. In the evening, enjoy a visit to the picturesque Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to explore its rich avian population.
Overnight stay will be at the resort in Kumarakom.
Day 9: Kumarakom - Alleppey - Cochin
After breakfast, board in a Houseboat for an exciting and unforgettable Backwater Cruise trip to Alleppey. Later in the day, we drive to Cochin (64 km - 1 ½ hrs.). Arrive at Cochin and check into the hotel.
Enjoy the Kathakali Dance Show in the Evening. Overnight stay will be at Cochin.
Day 10: Cochin - Ooty
After breakfast in the morning, we drive to Ooty (280 km - 6 hrs). Arrive at Ooty and check into your hotel and relax.
Located at an altitude of 2,300 m above the sea level, Ooty (also known as the queen of the blue mountains) is one of the finest hill resorts of India. Famous for its rolling hills covered in pine and eucalyptus forests and also for its coffee and tea plantations, Ooty appears to be a little paradise.
Evening at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Ooty.
 Day 11: Ooty - Mysore
After breakfast, explore the exceptionally beautiful and scenic hill resort of south India called Ooty. Visit the famous and beautiful botanical Garden of Ooty. In the afternoon, we drive to Mysore (170km-5hrs) passing through the betel nut and pepper plantation.
Arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 12: Mysore
After breakfast, enjoy a City Tour of Mysore. Visit the world-famous Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens and other attractions of Mysore.
In the evening proceed for Srirangapatnam to see many historic monuments of the town such as the Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan.
Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 13: Mysore - Bangalore
After breakfast, we drive to Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka (139 km- 3 hrs). Enjoy a City tour of Bangalore on arrival. Visit the major attraction of Bangalore such as the Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park, Lal Bagh, Tipu Sultan's Palace made entirely of wood, Nandi Bull Temple and M.G Road for Shopping.
Late in the evening, on time transfer to airport to connect flight for your onward destination or way back home with sweet memories of India.
