Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: New Delhi
You would arrive at the international airport of New Delhi, where our representative would greet you and escort you to a hotel. You can relax or spend the day as you like. Evening would comprise of the sound and light show at the Red Fort.
Day 02: New Delhi
We would visit several places of attractions in both Old and New Delhi. Some of these places include Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Kutub Minar, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, and bazaar of Chandni Chowk. You can spend the entire evening moving around the lighted streets of Connaught Place and do a lot of shopping.
Day 03: Indore-Dhar
We would board the flight to Indore, where you would meet our agent. He would drive to the ancient city of Dhar. You can relax in the evening and enjoy a comfortable stay at the Jhira Bagh Palace.
Day 04: Mandu
We would go for sightseeing in Mandu and visit popular places such as Baz Bahadur Palace, Hindola Mahal, or the Swinging Palace, Roopmati’s Pavilion, Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, Asharfi Mahal, and Jahaze Mahal. You can spend evening simply relaxing.
Day 05: Indore
We would kick start the day with a fun filled drive to Indore. During the journey, we would visit Maheshwar and Omkareshwar. We would unpack in a hotel.
Day 06: Bhopal
We would begin the sightseeing tour in Bhopal, which is a city of Ahilyabai. She was a brave Holkar queen. Night accommodation would be arranged into a hotel.
Day 07: Bhopal
We would see some of the popular caves and learn about the cave dwellers of the prehistoric times at Bhimbetka.
Day 08: Sanchi
We would spend the day on excursion in Sanchi. We would also view the Buddhist art and architecture here. It unfolds the story of Emperor Asoka, who later adopted Buddhism. Evening would comprise of rail journey to Jabalpur, a popular marble city.
Day 09: Jabalpur- Kanha National Park
You would arrive at Jabalpur, where our agent would greet you and drive you to Kanha National Park. Here, we would put up at the jungle resort. After spending some relaxing moments, we would start for jungle gypsy safari in and around the park. Night stay would be in the resort.
Day 10: Kanha National Park
Morning would be spent touring the dense jungle on gypsy safari. During this safari, we would notice the fearful Sher Khan, the tiger. Then, we would enjoy the lip smacking lunch and would once again set out on the jungle safari. We would enjoy the local folk dance and bonfire in the evening.
Day 11: Kanha- Jabalpur
In the morning, we would enjoy the exciting jungle gypsy safari and then in the afternoon we would leave for Khajuraho. Night stay would be arranged in a hotel.
Day 12: Khajuraho
We would enjoy sightseeing in Khajuraho and visit several historic places and temples of Khajuraho.
Day 13: Khajuraho-Orchha
We would reach Orchha by road and check into a hotel. The entire would be spent visiting different places of interest in Orchha.
Day 14: Gwalior
We would start our day with long drive to Gwalior. There you would be accommodated in a hotel.
Day 15: Gwalior
We would wake up lazily and in the afternoon begin our sightseeing tour in Gwalior. Some of the tourist attractions of Gwalior, which would be visited, include Palace of Maharaja of Gwalior and Fort of Gwalior. We would also explore the Gwalior bazaars.
Day 16: Delhi
We would relax for the entire day in the palace hotel of Gwalior. Then, we would leave for railway station. We would begin our journey to Delhi, where we would put up in a hotel.
Day 17: Departure
We would enjoy morning cup of tea leisurely and start for airport, from where you can board a flight to your next destination or return back home. And the Central India tour ends satisfactorily.
