Situated on the banks of river Gondali in the Indian State
of Gujarat at a distance of 60 kms from the district headquarter
of Junagadh and 39 kms from the colonial city of Rajkot,

most beautiful palace in Gondal is known by the name
of Navlakha Palace which sited on the river bank rises
to a colossal height of almost 30 m above the river

Besides this, the other two palaces are the Riverside
Palace and the Orchard Palace. Located on edge of river
Gondali, the Riverside Palace was constructed by Maharajah
Bhagwatsinghji for his son Yuvraj Bhojraji in 1875 A.D.
Both the palaces today however have been turned into
Heritage Homes and provide luxurious accommodation to
those staying in the place.
