Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore
On arrival in Bangalore, you will be transferred to a hotel. In the afternoon, visit Lal Bagh - a botanical garden spread over 240 acres, commissioned by Mysore ruler, Hyder Ali in 1760. Visit Glasshouse (similar to the London’s Crystal Palace). The state capital has become an IT capital of India. Relax in the evening at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Bangalore / Mysore (140 km /3hrs)
Have breakfast, leave for Mysore. On your way, visit Srirangapatna - Tippu’s Summer Palace. On reaching Mysore, the former capital of the princely state and city of royal palaces, have lunch at the hotel and relax. St. Phenomena’s church – a must visit place. Visit Brindavan Garden in the evening and Krishna Raja Sagar Dam while sun is setting. Feel like in fairyland, when colored lights and musical fountains brightens this place. Overnight.
Day 03: Mysore
Have breakfast. Visit Maharaja Palace, also called city palace, built in the Indo-Saracenic Style. Its attractions include magnificent gold throne, and arches and colonnades of carved pillars. Another place to visit is Chamundi Hills – with its temple of Chamundeshwari where Goddess Durga is celebrating her victory over the buffalo god. Nandi on road to top. Visit Brindavan Gardens. Have fun at the Mysore’s famous market in the evening. Overnight.
Day 04: Mysore / Coorg – Madikeri (125 kms / 3hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Coorg. On you way, visit Nisarghadhama-island close to Kushalnagar. According to availability at that time, can go for boating or elephant ride. Then check in to a hotel in Madikeri. The place is rich in coffee estates, cardamom and pepper. Evening free. Overnight.
Day 05: Coorg – Madikeri
Have breakfast at the hotel and head for full-day sight seeing tour that covers Talakaveri – surrounded by the beautiful Brahmagiri hills, the source of Cauvery River, Talacauvery Temple, Baghamandala, afternoon return to hotel, visit Onkareshwara Temple, Raja Seat in evening. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 06: Madikeri / Bangalore ( 240 kms / 6hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel, head for Bangalore and board train or flight.
